Are you a high achieving professional who constantly feels stuck?

Despite the fact that you’ve accomplished a lot in your life, do you often feel like you are fighting against your own brain?

You’re constantly writing to-do lists, setting alarms on your phone, and own 3 different planners, but they still don’t help you get started on things when you feel stuck.

Instead of achieving even bigger and better goals, do you find yourself:

Not knowing how to start.

Even when you know what you need to do, you can’t seem to get yourself to take action. You spend a lot of time thinking about these things, but can’t actually start. Which creates even more stress, anxiety, and overwhelm.

Constantly feeling crunched for time.

Things take longer than you would expect, you run late, and you’re in catch up mode all the time.  When you do have “free” time you feel like you “waste it” doing something else that isn’t important.

Wanting everything to be perfect.

You might actually believe that if it can’t be perfect, it’s not worth starting or trying, which means you get stuck in “all-or-nothing” thinking. Or, you spend way too much time on things trying to get them to be perfect.

Starting a lot, finishing very little.

You have so many ideas & interests that you start a little bit of everything, but nothing gets finished. Everything feels like a priority, so you have a million balls in the air at all times.

Feeling tired & overwhelmed all the time.

Work, projects, laundry, cleaning, grocery shopping, keeping track of things for your kids, hobbies, sleep, self-care…everything feels like a struggle. Even if one area of your life seems to be going well, the other areas are suffering. It feels like everyone else it figured out, except you.

You’re not alone with these challenges!

You’re not lazy.

You’re not a failure.

Your brain is not broken.

You were not given the right tools for your brain.

But what if you could work with your brain instead of against it and accomplish everything on your list?

Imagine…

It’s all possible and here’s what you might not know about your brain:

Everyone uses executive function skills every single day: planning, organizing, prioritizing, time management, task initiation, flexible thinking.

Executive functioning skills aren’t just for work or school - they impact all areas of our life.

Some people have a more difficult time with executive functioning - this can be related to ADHD, other diagnoses, or life experiences.

Executive functioning skills can be learned at any point in time in your life. It’s never too late to learn new strategies.

You deserve to learn about your unique brain - why you get stuck, why you hyperfocus (on the “wrong” thing), and why boring tasks are almost impossible to start.

You need a new set of tools that matches how your brain works.

#1: Systems

There isn't a "one size fits all" system or strategy to manage life, but most of us were given the exact same tools, strategies, and systems to manage our time, plan our day, and keep track of everything on our plate. Those systems don't work for everyone.

Your brain needs a mix of structure and flexibility. It’s all about finding the right balance of both, which is constantly changing.

Your brain wants novelty and excitement. To-do lists don’t cut it. You need to mix in new systems that are not only new, but actually fun. Yes, fun!

Your brain works best when you work with your energy, instead of fighting against it. You need to learn how to notice your energy and adjust your plan and systems to match your energy so you can not only work more efficiently, but feel good about how you’re getting stuff done.

Your brain needs a clear plan. Taking big goals and breaking them down into small, realistic steps sounds simple & makes sense, but it takes practice, patience, and kindness to yourself.

#2: Self-Talk

What you say to yourself matters. Self-talk is the foundation of our executive functioning.

If you’re constantly thinking hurtful, mean things about yourself, it’s really hard to create a change, use new systems, and get things done.

If you’ve ever thought:

  • “I’m lazy.”

  • “I can’t do this.”

  • “I’m always late.”

  • “I’ll never figure this out.”

You deserve to practice a new way of thinking. Not only will you feel better, but you’ll also be able to take action.

#3: Community

Feeling like you’re the only one experiencing these challenges is isolating. You aren’t the only person to feel or think this way. You aren’t alone with these challenges. Meeting other people with similar experiences can be life changing. You deserve to be part of a community of people who “get it.”

Hi, I’m Sarah!

I’ve been coaching professionals, creatives, entrepreneurs, & perfectionists for 10 years.

I used to proudly call myself a perfectionist, but I don’t anymore. It took a lot of self-reflection, self-compassion, and practice to change how I think about “productivity,” my self-worth, and how I do things.

I used to overanalyze, stress out, and spend wayyyyy too much time on things because I wanted them to be perfect. It served me well academically & professionally, but I eventually realized that it wasn’t healthy or sustainable. I was putting myself in a box and working in a way that didn’t work for me.

It’s taken time, reflection, and practice to create systems that I love & that work for me. I still catch myself in perfectionism and procrastination loops because that’s part of being human - but I have a toolbox that I can lean on when I need it.

In my 10 years of coaching, I’ve worked with clients who have tried over, and over, and over again to use tools & strategies that don’t work for them because they didn’t have the time, energy, or resources to figure out what would work for them.

That’s where I come in. And this is why I created this membership for you… so you have access to resources, strategies, coaching, and a community to lean on when you’re feeling stuck.

Testimonials

"I still use the worksheets to this day. I loved the group [forum]; I was able to go in there and get ideas from the other people doing the program as well, but also to ask Sarah specific questions and get guidance and tools and strategies for my specific issue that I was having in my business or day-to-day life."

- TINA

“Sarah’s thoroughness, intuitiveness and humor was comforting from the start. Sarah guides you through this process in a way that feels right. It’s not overwhelming and I believe that is a reflection on her ability to sense what strategies will suit you and your lifestyle resulting in successfully reaching your goals.”

- JEAN

“The discussion on task switching depending on energy levels was the ‘aha’ moment for me. I can now recognize what I need to do in the moment where in the past I tended to feel ‘stuck.’”

FAQs

  • This is an ADHD/ neurodivergent-friendly membership.

As an executive functioning coach, the majority of my clients have ADHD (diagnosed or self-diagnosed).

You do not need to have a diagnosis to participate in this membership.

My coaching style, the content, and the resources in this course will all be presented in multiple different ways to account for different learning styles.

  • Almost anything!

Your goal can be related to:

    • Work (getting projects done on time, changing jobs, starting a business/ side hustle)

    • Home life (chores, errands, cooking/ meal prepping, keeping up with things)

    • Health (finding time for exercise, coming up with a nutrition plan)

    • Self-care (creating a plan for self-care, finding time)

    • Hobbies (reconnecting with an old hobby)

  • This membership is not intended to be 1:1 coaching, however, there may be opportunities to ask questions and get support specific to your needs in workshops & hot seat coaching.
