Hi, I’m Sarah!

I help professionals with ADHD, creatives, entrepreneurs, perfectionists, & college students create individualized and sustainable systems to reach their academic, career, and personal goals. Read my story below!

My Story

After graduating from Endicott College in Beverly, MA with a B.S in psychology, I knew I wanted to work with people but I wasn’t sure what it would look like. It wasn’t until I worked as a coach with an agency that matched me with clients who were working on a wide variety of goals (educational, employment, independent living, social) that I knew I was on the right path. I fell in love with coaching and wanted to dive deeper into clinical work. So I attended Boston University and earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2017.

I spent several years working for a non-profit organization, in mental health counseling, and continued coaching part-time. While I loved my role as a social worker, I found myself scheduling more and more coaching clients and feeling excited and energized to do more coaching.

In January 2022, I took the leap to coach full time as a solopreneur and founded Executive Functioning First, LLC.

My coaching style is collaborative, structured, and fun. A good coaching meeting always involves at least a little bit of laughter. I understand that the idea of working with a coach can be uncomfortable or stressful for some clients; we take time to get to know each other, create an outline for our meetings so you know what to expect, and adjust the plan as needed.

As an executive function coach, I:

Ask you good questions to really get you thinking, and challenge you to think about things differently

Help you learn about yourself and do some deep reflection so you can build on your strengths & reframe your self-talk to be kinder and more patient with yourself

Offer support, guidance, and pushes when you need a little extra encouragement to do the hard stuff

Help you prioritize your own self-care because you absolutely deserve that and I firmly believe that our self-care is the foundation of our ability to reach our other goals

When I'm not on Zoom with clients or building my business, you can find me going on trail walks, listening to podcasts, paddle boarding, cooking new gluten free and vegetarian recipes, and planning my next travel adventure. I live in the Seacoast area of New Hampshire with my dog, Georgia.

Fun Facts:

I’ve traveled to 19 countries. I’m so grateful for the experiences I’ve had & the amazing people I’ve met along the way. I have a long travel bucket list to go!

I love national parks, hiking, and camping. After buying a truck camper, my partner and I took our dogs on a roadtrip from New Hampshire to Colorado. We look forward to local weekend trips around New England this summer.

A brown dog resting on a couch with an open book in front of him, in a living room with a white fireplace, a white armchair, and a sliding glass door.

I’m a New Hampshire native and love all things New England, except I’m not a huge fan of winter here. I do enjoy snuggling on the couch with a good book (and Georgia) & short, snowy trail hikes.

A woman in a black swimsuit stands on a paddleboard holding a paddle, with a dog sitting on the paddleboard in a lake with mountains in the background.

I paddle board as much as I can in the summer. The week I adopted Georgia we began “land training” on the paddle board and within 2 weeks she was out balancing on the water. She jumps for joy when she sees the paddleboard.

I’m gluten free & vegetarian. I found out I had Celiac when I was in my early 20s and have been gluten free ever since. I enjoy the challenge of cooking while camping. I absolutely love Thai & Mexican food. The spicier the better!

A woman wearing a blue athletic shirt, black leggings, a bike helmet, and glasses, smiling and standing outdoors with a turquoise mountain bike on a grassy field with trees in the background.

I got a mountain bike for my 31st birthday and have been both exploring & being a “beginner” again. Rail trails are more my speed, but maybe I’ll get braver with time!
